These terms and conditions relate to the use of thewarminsterjeweller.com website owned and operated by The Warminster Jeweller Ltd, Registration Number: 6308650, Registered Office Address is 9 High Street, Warminster, Wiltshire, BA12 9AG.

Ordering
All orders for Goods shall be deemed to be an offer by the Buyer to purchase Goods pursuant to these Terms and Conditions and are subject to acceptance by The Warminster Jeweller Ltd, who may choose not to accept an order for any reason.

When the item you wish to purchase is not available from stock you will be notified and given the option to either wait until the Goods are available from stock or cancel the order and receive a full refund within 30 days.

Cancellation & Return
We are confident you will be delighted with your online purchase.

However, you do have the option of returning items purchased online to us within 14 days of receipt for a full refund or exchange if you decide that the item is not right for you or the goods are faulty (only valid for items purchased online).  We regret that we cannot offer refunds or exchanges on goods that have been worn, damaged or have had any alterations by a third party.

Returned items can only be accepted if they are:

  • In the same condition they were received ( all items are photo documented before shipping )
  • With all original paperwork and documents
  • In the original packaging
  • Via the returns procedure detailed below

Failure to do so will result in the item being returned to you.

Please complete the following procedure if you do decide to make a return:

  • Take the parcel to a post office for dispatch using Royal Mail's Special Delivery service (specifying "maximum insurance") to:

Returned items can only be accepted in the same condition in which they were received. All original paperwork and documents must be included.

You will be notified by telephone or email as soon as we have verified the item's condition. A full refund will then be issued within three working days.

Delivery
The Warminster Jeweller is pleased to offer free delivery for all our products within the UK, using Royal Mail's Special Delivery service. You will be notified of the anticipated delivery date.

Secure Delivery
Please note that all purchases will be dispatched only to the registered billing address of the cardholder who has made the purchase. Delivery to an alternative location will require prior registration with your credit card company and the provision of their written confirmation to this effect.

All items are fully covered for insurance in transit, and must be signed for upon delivery. At this point they become the property of the purchaser and our insurance no longer applies. Please be satisfied that the parcel has in no way been tampered with in transit before accepting delivery.

Delivery Schedule
For items held in stock please allow 3-5 working days for delivery, but note that certain products may take longer, particularly where bespoke design aspects are involved. You will be notified of the delivery date at the time your order is confirmed. Every effort is made to deliver your purchase as swiftly as possible but please bear in mind that some items are individually crafted to your requirements.

The Warminster Jeweller shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform any of its obligations or promises if the delay or failure results from events or circumstances outside its reasonable control.

Information on our Website
Whilst we make every attempt to ensure that our online catalogue is as accurate as possible errors can occur. Prices are subject to change without notice and will be confirmed upon receipt of your order. We may alter images for presentation purposes. Colour and size may vary slightly on different monitors.

We aim to respond to all complaints within five working days from the date of receipt.  All complaints will be treated in the strictest confidence.

Refunds and Exchanges
We are confident you will be delighted with your online purchase.

However, you do have the option of returning items purchased online to us within 14 days of receipt for a full refund or exchange if you decide something is not right for you or the goods are faulty.  We regret that we cannot offer refunds or exchanges on goods that are made to your specification or clearly personalised unless they are faulty.

The refund will only be authorised once our qualified diamond graders have completed a rigorous examination and verified that the returned diamond or item of jewellery is the same piece and in the same condition as the one sent to you. If it is not, the item will be returned to you.

The above conditions do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

We utilise advanced security technology for credit-card transactions in order to create a safe and convenient shopping environment for you. We accept MasterCard, Visa, American Express and electronic banking transfers. We can also accept personal cheques if you will allow 5 days for clearance.

Every credit card purchase that you make at The Warminster Jeweller is conducted through our Secure Server. This provides a number of security features:

Please note that for your own security, items will only be dispatched to the registered billing address for the credit card used to make the purchase.

Special Orders
At The Warminster Jeweller we want to ensure that you find exactly what you are looking for. Our diamond collection is dominated by the most popular cuts and grades, but if you are unable to find a stone fitting your exact preferences, please contact us via email or telephone let us know. We will make every effort to find the stone(s) you request using our extensive network of contacts.

Linked to this, we offer a bespoke design service and are happy to help collectors in their quest for vintage styles from specific designers or eras.

Please note that bespoke items are produced to our customer's specification and cannot be offered with a refund or exchange option, except in the event that the goods are faulty.  This exemption is in accordance with The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000.

The Warminster Jeweller Limited is committed to protecting your privacy and maintaining the security of any personal information received from you. We strictly adhere to the requirements of the data protection legislation in the UK.

  1. When you order, we need to know your name, address, email address and bank card details. This allows us to process and fulfil your order. You have the option to withhold personal information that is not required for the order process.
  2. We may use your personal information to update you about new products/services.
  3. We will only contact you with your consent.
  4. We do not sell, rent or exchange your personal information with any third party for commercial reasons, beyond the essential requirement for credit/debit card validation during purchase.
  5. In order to process credit/debit card transactions, the bank or card processing agency may require verifying your personal details for authorisation outside the EEA (European Economic Area). Your information will not be transferred outside the EEA for any other purpose.

Returns

We are confident you will be delighted with your online purchase, but you do have the option to return it within 14 days of receipt (valid only on online purchases).

Please follow the guidelines described in our refunds and exchanges section. Once the package has been submitted to the post office for return by Royal Mail's Special Delivery service, it is automatically covered once more by our own insurers. On receipt, our own agents will only sign for the item once satisfied that it has in no way been tampered with.

International Shipping Information
Deliveries to addresses within the UK and Channel Islands will not incur any additional charges. Your order will be delivered during normal business hours, once payment has been confirmed, to the billing address of the card you pay with. If you wish the item to be delivered to a different address then please be advised that for insurance purposes you will need to pay with a debit card rather than a credit card. Deliveries will require a signature on delivery. For this reason, it is not possible to deliver to a PO Box address or a hotel.

Product prices are in GBP (£) and are inclusive of sales tax. Anyone exporting goods to a non-EC country will be entitled to a refund of the sales tax.

All deliveries are made from The Warminster Jeweller Ltd within the United Kingdom.

If you require delivery outside of the UK and Channel Islands please contact us to discuss delivery options and costs. Items from our site delivered outside the UK, may be subject to import duties and taxes which are levied when the delivery reaches the specified destination. You will be responsible for payment of any such import duties and taxes. Please note that we have no control over these charges and cannot predict their amount. Please contact your local customs office for further information before placing your order. Please also note that you must comply with all applicable laws and regulations of the country for which the products are destined. We will not be liable for any breach by you of any such laws.
